September always begins for us at the Brazilian Day festival at Brasarte in Berkeley- a celebration of Brazilian music and culture. Sandy will sing a set of bossa nova oriented music in tribute to João Gilberto with guitarist Rafael Amarante on the indoor stage, at 3:45 pm, with Jeff sitting in on trombone and Williams Martins on percussion....then it's off to Vienna for Sandy-- she will attend the FLOW Phonation Seminar and do a show on Sept. 16 at Club Zwe with the band Caoba...then it's back home for a gig with Ray Obiedo and Mistura Fina(with Jeff on Trombone) at the Sound Room in Oakland on Sept. 21...we end the month at Monterey Jazz Festival, where Natalie and Ian Faquini do their set Saturday Sept. 28 at 2 pm in Dizzy's Den; Jeff plays with Steven Bernstein's MTO West Saturday at 8:45 pm on the garden stage and then with Pacific Mambo Orchestra Sunday Sept. 29 at 1:50 on the Jimmy Lyon's main stage.

Jeff, Sandy and Natalie Cressman are renowned for their talents as performers. In addition, Sandy provides educational workshops internationally to students of all levels. Jeff is sought after as a recording engineer of both live and studio sessions, as well as for his music production. Natalie, now transplanted to New York, has garnered a reputation as a promising trombonist, vocalist, and composer. Julianna just completed her B.A in Dance at U.C. Irvine.
